TERMS OF USE

Welcome to Amy Lloyd Workshop and online store. Amy Lloyd is a British jewellery brand owned by Amy Lloyd. Please read the following basic rules which govern your use of our website. Please do not use or purchase anything from this website if you do not agree to the following terms and conditions.

We use cookies to optimize the experience on our website. By using cookies, we  record information regarding traffic and patterns on our website. The information is used to improve the usability of our website.

CHANGES TO INFORMATION

We reserve the right to correct any errors or inaccuracies and to change and update information at any time without prior notice. Please note that such errors or inaccuracies may relate to product description, pricing and/or availability.

PRICE UPDATES AND AMENDMENTS

We reserve the right to update and amend our pricing at any time and without prior notice to reflect the fluctuating gold and silver prices. This only affects orders placed after the changes have taken place. Any orders placed before changes to pricing will not be affected.

PRODUCT APPEARANCE

We have done our best to display and photograph our jewellery as accurately as possible. Our jewellery is handmade which makes each item one-of-a-kind. Please note that the exact colour/shade of the gold and stones used to create our jewellery can differ slightly in real life from what is shown on your screen. Due to the nature of precious stones, the colour can differ with each stone and under different lightings.

We try to be as accurate as possible when providing the dimensions and measurements of our jewellery, minor differences however may occur.

We reserve the right to change any packaging displayed on our website. The packaging used for jewellery purchased through our website will vary.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Customers must be over the age of 18 to place an order with us.

ORDERING MADE TO ORDER ITEMS

Unless stated otherwise most of our jewellery is made to order. This means that we do not have the physical item in stock. By purchasing a made to order item you, the customer, understands that there is a production time. The production time will be stated in the listing and this will have to elapse before you receive your item.

We reserve the right to finish and send your items to you earlier than stated. If there are delays with your order we will inform you. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by factors out of our control including, but not limited to Hallmarking and Assay Office turnaround times, postal delays and any delays caused by our suppliers.

You will be kept updated on the progress of your order via the email address you provide to us when placing an order or when corresponding with us. Updates will be sent to you by Amy Lloyd every 7 - 14 days but the frequency of these will vary. If you do not want to receive updates please inform us at any time.

If you have any personal requirements surrounding delivery dates, please contact us before placing your order and we will do our best to meet them.

ORDERING READY TO SHIP ITEMS

Ready to ship items refers to jewellery which we have in stock. We ship these items within 1 - 3 business days once we have received the order.


RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

If you would like to return an item you must contact us first using the following address - info@amylloyd.co.uk. You can return items within 30 days of receiving them. Please note this does not include earrings or bespoke commissioned items. To be eligible for a refund each item must be unworn, undamaged and in it's original packaging. You are initially responsible for the return shipping costs however these will be refunded to you as part of the refund.

Please note that all stones are tested before a refund is issued.

Refunds are issued after we receive the item(s).

Exchanges are at our discretion. Items must be returned before an exchange is sent to you.

WARRANTY

Our warranty covers manufacturing faults only not damage or faults caused by regular use or damage caused by you, the customer. If you would like to return an item under our warranty please contact info@amylloyd.co.uk. You must include your name, date of order, description of fault and include photographs of the item. Tarnish to gold and silver items is not covered under our warranty.

SHIPPING

Orders from within the UK are shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery. This is a fully tracked delivery service which aims to deliver within 1 - 2 days of dispatch. Please note a signature will be required on delivery.

All orders from outside the UK are usually dispatched via UPS but this can vary with each country. We use a fully tracked service which aims to deliver within 3 - 7 days or dispatch. Customs and import charges may apply for international customers and these are the responsibility of the customer. A signature is required on delivery.

We are not responsible for any delays caused by shipping as these are out of our control.
